Line dancing is dance steps choreographed to the beat of popular songs – it includes a variety of dance moves such as funk, waltz, rumba, tango and swing. It is a fun way to keep fit (trim) and stimulates the mind. Line dancing is one of the most popular dance genres on the planet! And no wonder, when you consider how many dancers from all around the world enjoy the hugely diverse music selection that talented choreographers bring to the dance floor.
Leon Nel teaches line dancing at the Roosevelt Park Recreation Centre (GREYDENE NG CHURCH), Blairgowrie Community Centre (FERNDALE RECREATION CENTRE), Featherbrooke Hills Retirement Village and The Dance Palace. All ages welcome! No partner or experience is required.
